A COLD, BLUSTERY DAY AT THE BEACH... |
|
... ROBINS WILL DO WHEN THERE ARE NO GROUSE AROUND TO POINT |
Friday, 9:00 AM. 33 degrees F at the ferry dock, 30 on the back porch. Wind WNW, mostly calm with light to moderate gusts. The sky is overcast and cloudy, with a few patches of blue ( and just now a bit of sunshine!), the humidity 72%. The barometer is rising, now at 29.86". Tomorrow should be warmer and sunny, but Sunday it will be cooler and overcast again, with snow predicted for Monday and Tuesday. Yuck!
The cold, dismal weather continued yesterday, but Buddy wanted to go to the beach anyway, where he had a grand time while I practically froze to death.
When there are no grouse to point, robins will have to do.
