A SOFT, PEACHY-MAUVE MORNING
FALL LANDSCAPE COLOR
SPRING LANDSCAPE COLOR
Tuesday, Election Day. 8:00 AM. 33 degrees, wind SW, calm. The sky is cloudless, the barometer predicts rain but the humidity is very low. This is the time of year when the dawn and dusk skies begin to be particularly beautiful, and this morning’s horizon is a soft, peachy mauve.
This Bayfield landscape, designed and installed by myself over a period of several years is not able to be viewed in its entirety in one photo, but this vantage point from a high deck shows the balance between summer bloom and fall color that should be a goal of every home landscape plan.
We are going to a meeting of city foresters in Wausau and will be back Wednesday evening so there will be no post tomorrow. Lucky will stay across the street with his friend Molly and her dog Sadie. DON’T FORGET TO VOTE!
