BAYFIELD DAFFODILS ARE STILL A GLORIOUS SIGHT

Sunday, 36 degrees F on the back porch.  Wind E, with strong gusts.  The sky is mostly cloudy, the humidity 88%.  The barometer stands at 30.32" and is falling, predicting significant rain for tomorrow.
It will be a sad Mothers Day in Hattiesburg, Mississippi and throughout the nation, after the murders of two young police officers there, one white, one black.  We all should reflect on the critical state of our nation's crime and race relations, which have been exacerbated by politicians pandering to various elements of their base for years now, from President Obama on down.  The politicos will quickly pivot away from their inflammatory rhetoric, but it won't bring the two young men back.
Daffodils are at their best this morning.  If the weather stays cool they will still look good for the Bayfield in Bloom kickoff next Friday.  If it warms up, they will fade fast.  But it has been a nice spring for bulbs, and  right now the Bayfield daffodils are still a glorious sight.
Pray for the World's Christians,
Persecuted for their Faith
