UFO RESEARCH IN NORTHERN WISCONSIN

UFO RESEARCH...

...AND CHASE CAR...

...WITH THE MOST ADVANCED EQUIPMENT...

....SEEN AT THE ASHLAND WALMART
Thursday, 8:15 AM.  38 degrees F at the ferry dock,43 on the back porch.  Wind NNE, light to moderate with moderate gusts.  The sky is clear, the humidity 66%.  The barometer is steady, at 30.20".  Highs  today around 40, warming tomorrow and Saturday into the high 50's, with rain on Sunday, then much cooler midweek and beyond..
We stumbled onto this UFO research and chase vehicle in Ashland yesterday in the Walmart parking lot.  I looked for license plates and expected them to be from California or possibly Arizona  but they were Wisconsin plates.  Since the vehicle is marked "unit-01" one is led to believe there are more than one of them, which if true is pretty scary.
We were dubious about entering Walmart, since we thought the flying saucer might have landed to have emergency repairs at the Auto Shop.  We did eventually go in and saw no little green men in the checkout lanes (I stayed far away from the auto section).
Maybe the driver of the chase vehicle took a wrong turn out of Duluth on his way to Area 51 in Arizona, or the storied airplane hanger in Roswell, New Mexico, where the flying saucer that crash landed there in 1950 with its diminutive green crew is kept.
Anyway, if it were Sunday the driver might be  chasing down reports of UFO's from the Saturday Night crowd, but Tuesday nights are usually pretty quiet hereabouts.
There are a lot of unique characters across the state line in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan (they are lovingly referred to a Youpers) but again, I cite the Wisconsin auto plates.
Strange goings on here, folks, even for Northern Wisconsin.
