HWY 2 BETWEEN ASHLAND AND SUPERIOR, COLORFUL ALL THE WAY... |
...BIRD'S FOOT TREFOIL AND SWEET CICILY |
Our trip to Superior yesterday on US 2 was a real treat, the roadsides for sixty miles lined with bright yellow birds foot trefoil and great swaths of white sweet cicily. These colorful plants are all adventive, the trefoil growing where nothing else will along the roadside. In places yellow buttercup and daisies were added to the mix.
A beautiful roadside makes the trip easy.
