6/04/12 ANOTHER GARDEN TOUR COLLAGE, AND CONSTANT REMINDERS OF OUR TRIBULATIONS

A CAPTAIN'S GARDEN

...OVER THE BOUNDING FLOWERS

A MOTEL GARDEN

A DRIVE-BY GARDEN

A FRONT YARD GARDEN...

...AND ANOTHER

A BARN GARDEN

AN ORCHARD GARDEN

NATURE'S GARDEN

Monday, 8:00 AM.  64 degrees F, wind W, calm to very light.  The humidity is 50%.  The sky is mostly overcast with dark rain clouds, but the barometer is high.  I think it will probably rain a bit this morning and clear later on.
The driving garden tour was a pleasure to take as it led one all around and through Bayfield and environs.  The city and countryside are truly beautiful and there are many very attractive gardens that were not on the tour but could be viewed along the way.  Except perhaps to count tour maps actually picked up at the chamber office by visitors it would be next to impossible to estimate participants.
Tomorrow is the Wisconsin governor and lieutenant governor recall election.  The latest polls show the Governor ahead of Barrett, his challenger.  It will be a relief to get this protracted, expensive, totally unnecessary process done with.  The signs, I am afraid, will stay up for a long time, as constant reminders of our tribulations.
