BUDDY EXCEEDING THE SPEED LIMIT

Friday, 8:45 AM.  3 degrees F, up from -1 at dawn.  The sky is blue except for a few wispy white clouds.  The southwesterly wind is strong enough to have a bite in it.  The humidity is 71% and the barometer is trending down, now at 30.06".  It is a fantastic morning.

   Yesterday afternoon it was quite nice, around 13 degrees, and I took Buddy on a long-promised run down Old San Road, which has virtually no traffic.  He had the chance to really stretch his legs, much exceeding the posted speed limit.  He jumped the banks a couple of times and immediately sunk up to his neck.  I am glad he was able to extricate himself, as the snow was up to my waist everywhere, I am sure.
