OOPS: MISSED IT!

RACE PHOTO FROM TWO YEARS AGO
Sunday, 9:00 AM. Fifteen degrees F both at the ferry dock and on the back porch.  Wind W, mostly calm with occasional moderate gusts.  The sky is overcast but looks like it will clear.  The humidity is 77%, the barometer steady, at 30.08".
The forecast calls for high temps in the twenties, except for midweek, when it will drop considerably; otherwise it is a wintry mix of overcast or partly cloudy skies, with heavy snow on Tuesday.  I have no idea what the groundhog predicted on Feb 1, or whether there is any "there" there in any case.
We missed the annual sled dog races, which we usually watch out on Star Route.  Joan has an inner ear balance thing going on and it is way too warm for the dogs in any case, they being at their best at 0 or below.  Yesterday was in the twenties at race time.  Snow there's plenty of, out in the woods.
