DAYS OF GOLD AND BRONZE

MIXED HARDWOODS AND CONIFERS

FARMSTEAD AND SUGARBUSH

COUNTRY ROAD

PIKE'S CREEK WATERSHED

ONION RIVER BAY

Sunday, 8:30 AM.  51 degrees F at the ferry dock, 46 on the back porch.  Wind variable and calm, sky clear.  Humidity 80%, barometer 29.97" and falling rapidly.  The forecast is for rain early Monday and Tuesday mornings, then clearing with daytime temperatures in the high 50's.
It continues to be a beautiful and mild fall, the leaf colors now mostly gold and bronze with some shades of red and all punctuated with the dark green of the conifers.
OFF THE CUFF
Donald J. Trump is certainly no Boy Scout, and has said and probably done some reprehensible things.  It does seem, however, rather suspect that unsubstantiated accusations of very public sexual harassments are surfacing decades later, without benefit of  any kind of corroboration, nor testimony under oath, just before the election.
Could there possibly be a political character assassination lurking here?  I am shocked, shocked!  Certainly the Clinton machine is not capable of such a thing!
