EASTER DINNER IN THE BUNKHOUSE
CHILDREN BEHAVED THEMSELVES, DOGS DID NOT
RED MAPLE FLOWER, A DIMINUTIVE CHARMER
Monday, 7:00 AM. 36.5 degrees, wind W, calm. The sky is mostly overcast except for a pink band in the east. The barometer predicts more of the same but it looks like rain. I hope it holds off until we finish the shoreline mediation job this morning.
We had Easter dinner at the Larsen farm, with Andy and Judy, their daughter Libby and son-in-law Scott and their and children Tyler (12) and Luke (3). It was too chilly to be around the camp fire so we repaired to the bunkhouse. Dogs Lucky and JD were territorial and growling about everything and were a real pain.
The Garden View raking and pruning are pretty well finished. The red maples are blooming, at least in sunny locations. The flowers are diminutive but quite attractive.
