POPLAR, MAPLE, FIR AND PINE TREESSunday, 9:00 AM. 48 degrees, up ten degrees in the last hour. Wind is SW, light. The barometer predicts partly cloudy skies. It is a fine day for a parade.
Yesterday we went leaf peeping and orchard hopping. All the orchards and gift shops were busy and some were sold out of apples. We bought donuts for breakfast at Erickson’s orchard. The color is spectacular and hopefully will last for a few more weeks before wind and rain bring them down.
We will decorate the truck this morning for the parade. Line-up is at 1:00 PM, parade at 2:00.
