10/14/10 MORE PRECIOUS THAN GOLD

BEAUTIFUL SUNRISE
,,,SHADES OF YELLOW, ORANGE AND PINK

Thursday, 7:45 AM. 48 degrees, down two degrees from earlier. The sky is overcast, the wind W, calm. The barometer predicts rain but the humidity is still low at 33%. The sunrise was very colorful, the clouds shades of orange and pink.
The trip to Northwoods Nursery in Rhinelaneder was pleasant and productive. We saw turkeys along Hwy 51 around Mercer, and a huge black-phase eagle being harassed by crows northwest of Rhinelander on Hwy 47. The many bogs and swamps glittered golden with tamaracks, arguably more precious than the metal.
Today will be devoted to delivery and planting of the trees we brought back.
