A BETTER DAY
APPLEFEST IN THE RAIN
CARNIVALE!
SCARECROW WAITRESS AND CUSTOMERS AT MAGGIES
LAST BONFIRE
COLOR AT ITS PEAK
Saturday, 8:00 AM. 42 degrees, wind WNW, blustery at times but the barometer is up and it promises to be a nice day .
It was a cold and rainy opening for Applefest, but we braved it and had a good time, including a late lunch at Maggies. After dinner we went to the Larsen camp for a last bonfire, well attended by friends and neighbors in spite of the wind and occasional rain.
Today we will attend a few select Applefest activities, but the truck has to be decorated for the parade and Tom and I want to get to the shooting range.
Fall color is pretty much at its peak, although many trees and shrubs have not yet turned.
