ASHLAND SUPERFUND SITE... |
...WHILE DREDGING POLLUTED SEDIMENTS... |
...ENDS UP WITH A NO COST BREAK WALL AS BONUS |
Thursday, 8:30 AM. 64 degrees F at the ferry dock, 61 on the back porch. Wind SW, breezy. The sky is partly cloudy, the humidity 88%. The barometer is falling, now at 29.77". It is a pleasant morning, after thunder showers last night. The forecast calls for possible rain Saturday, then clearing.
Kudos to the City of Ashland and the contractor doing the super-fund cleanup of polluted harbor sediments. It is a multi-year, multi-million dollar job, with an unusual twist; the contractor proposed that he could use dredged rocks to build a new break wall for the same price as hauling them away. The city accepted, and Ashland will soon have a major, no-cost harbor improvement.
Even The Donald could approve of this win/win deal.
TOGETHER WE CAN DO IT!
Good to see that something going in favor of trump else eversince he is selected as president things have been worrying for him.
